I’ve loved stories for as long as I can remember. I wrote and illustrated my first “book” in sixth grade (hardcover bound and all!) and I’ve been hooked on storytelling ever since.
After a fulfilling career as a journalist for more than a decade, I discovered that what I love most isn’t just writing stories, it’s helping other people shape theirs. In my work as a reporter, I spent years listening closely, asking thoughtful questions, and finding the narrative threads that bring a story to life. Over time, that instinct naturally led me to book coaching, which has become my true calling.
Today, I’m proud to be a certified book coach through Author Accelerator, and to be spending my days guiding writers through the full journey of crafting a book. I work with fiction, nonfiction, and memoir writers, helping them to clarify their ideas, strengthen their narrative structure, and stay grounded in the creative process. I’ve coached writers through full manuscript drafts, deep structural revisions, and the often-daunting querying process. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a writer move from uncertainty to clarity, and being by their side as they realize a dream.

MY COACHING APPROACH
A Creative Partner That Will Get in the Weeds with You
I’m an intuitive coach who takes the time to really get to know the writers I work with. Once I understand the writer behind the story and the "why" that sparked it all, I’m able to ask the questions that help unlock the story you were meant to write. I love getting into the weeds during revisions, solving tricky plot or structure challenges, and helping writers see how all the pieces of their story connect. At the same time, I can see the forest for the trees and offer a zoomed-out perspective that many writers struggle to find when working alone.
Writing a book is a long and deeply personal process, but it doesn't have to be solitary. For that reason, my coaching relationships tend to be close and collaborative, because the best work happens when writers feel supported, challenged, and understood. I feel immense gratitude for the opportunity to be a creative partner for my clients, and I'm committed to helping every writer I work with bring the story they've been nurturing into full bloom.

Writing a book often begins with a tangle of different moments, questions, and themes that matter deeply to the writer but don’t yet form a clear vision. Much like the patterns that exist harmoniously in nature, I believe that within every story is a unique structure just waiting to be revealed. At The Woven Page, I work closely with writers to uncover those hidden connections and weave their ideas into stories that are effective, purposeful, and authentic.
Together, we’ll shape the story that’s been waiting to take root.
